The "Eagles" golf club was originally formed at the 19th hole at the Bay View Golf Course on the Windward side of the island on July 10th, 2005. While all golfers of any level aspires to make an eagle during a round of golf, we actually had an eagle that was made on this very day by Lokelani Laybon on the 7th hole on this bright Sunday afternoon. It was a very fitting moment for her as she bought a round of drinks for our entire group that assembled at the 19th hole. And, it was in honor of her special accomplishment, on this special day, we all voted to call ourselves the "Eagles". Knowing very well that there are many variations of Eagle golf clubs in Hawaii, we are distinguished as a golf club that is referred to as "Eagles Golf Club Hawaii".
